Beauty Secrets with Blogibabe

Ladies, we all know we have a not so secret obsession with beauty products. We go to the store for shampoo and walk out with nail polish, a new lipstick, and an assortment of scented lotions we have been dying to try. Don’t even get me started on the heaven that is Bath and Body Works. We avoid eye contact every time I make a trip to the mall.

Today I want to share my beauty obsession secrets with you. I’m going to share with you my favorite products to use at the moment. Why I love them, where you can get them, and the amazing things they do for you!

For the Shower

#1 Shampoo & Conditioner

The Total Repair 5 shampoo and conditioner is EXCELLENT. It is the only product to ever successfully keep my hair split end free! Seriously. I use heat on my hair very often, and these are perfect for preventing and repairing the damage. They also smell nice and neutral! You can find it at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

#2 Body Wash

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Dove Body Wash. The commercials don’t lie. This body wash keeps my skin soft, smooth, and smelling great. My favorite scent at the moment is the Sweet Cream and Peony! You can find it at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

For the Face

#1 Face Wash

The Fresh Foaming Cleanser from Neutrogena is the greatest for removing make-up! It is gentle on the skin which I love and has a neutral scent. It’s like washing your face with silk. I actually use it as my regular face wash now. I’ve ditched everything else! You can find it at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

#2 Facial Moisturizer

Aveeno Clear Complexion is a daily moisturizer that also helps with blemishes and acne. It is gentle and works the way it should, moisturizing and helping my acne. A little goes a long way which is nice since it’s a little pricey. You can find it at Wal-mart, Target, etc.

Getting Dolled Up

#1 Foundation

The Ready Set Gorgeous collection from Covergirl is brilliant. I start by spreading the liquid foundation across my face, then use the concealer stick to give blemishes a little extra coverage. I lightly seal it with the powder foundation for clean flawless coverage that looks natural. For my fair skin I use the lightest shade 105-110. You can find these at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

#2 Blush

For blush, I also use Covergirl. The three shade pallet is perfect for blending a nice rosey look! You can find this at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

#3 Eyeshadow

For eyeshadow I prefer to use natural tones. Covergirl has a great selection! They come with a sponge brush, but I prefer to use my own. This is similar to the colors I would buy for myself. You can find it at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

#4 Eye Liner

When I buy my eye liner, I also buy Covergirl. They have an eye liner/mascara combo pack that is much cheaper than buying them separately. I prefer the crayon type of pencil in black. It’s not as messy as liquid eye liner and looks way better than regular pencil. You can find this at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

#5 Mascara

Covergirl also carries my favorite mascara. The Lash Blast Volume is the best! I already have naturally long eye lashes, so I like to thicken them up with the volume mascara. It comes in regular and waterproof. I seriously get so many compliments on my eye lashes. You can find it at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

#6 Lipstick

Covergirl has some of the prettiest and softest lipsticks I’ve ever tried. I use #265 Romance Mauve. You don’t even have to use chapstick with this lipstick. It is a great moisturizer itself! You can find it at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

For the Purse

#1 Chapstick

I’m an EOS girl all the way. I love how many fun flavors they have and the shape of the chapstick. I think it moisurizes way better than regular Chapstick brand. You can find it at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

#2 Lotion

Did you know EOS makes lotion too? It’s even organic! They are fun size which makes them perfect to carry around with you! The scents are soft and soothing, and so is the lotion! You can find them at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

For Your Hair

#1 Straightener

I have this exact straightener. I’ve had a purple Chi Air for a few years now and it’s GREAT. Chi is still the best straightener around if you ask me. They do run a little high in price, but they style so well and last so long. It’s totally worth it. It doesn’t leave my hair looking dry or frizzy like some straighteners. My hair looks so shiny and smooth afterwards! I found mine at Kohl’s, but you can buy them at Ulta as well.

#2 Heat Protection

The Iron Guard spray from CHI helps protect hair from heat damage and it not only works, but smells AMAZING. Sometimes I just spray my hair with this for the smell haha! You can find it at Ulta.

#3 Hydration & Shine

I use CHI Silk Infusion after I straighten my hair to give it a little shine and softness. I’ll even use it on my natural curly hair to add a little moisture. Works great! It too smells AMAZING. You can find it at Ulta.

#4 Hairspray

Aussie hair spray is one of my faves. I don’t often use hair spray, but when I do this stuff does the trick. It smells so amazingly fruity and holds my style. You can find it at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

To Smell Good

#1 Deodorant

Secret is my favorite brand for deodorant. I think Dove is so soft it just gets kind of gross and clammy. Secret stays dry and works all day, even through the toughest workouts. This Paris scent is so feminine. I love it! Another one of my faves is the La La Lavender. You can find it at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

#2 Body Spray

Pink Cashmere from Bath and Body Works is my favorite scent at the moment. It’s so soft, sweet, and feminine. Good for every day use!

#3 Body Lotion

Of course my favorite lotion matches my body spray. Pink Cashmere all the way. You can find it at Bath and Body Works. It makes my skin so soft!

For Your Nails

#1 Nail Polish

Pure ICE is my all time favorite nail polish. I even think it’s better than Essie. I love the square bottles which makes it easy to organize under my counter and the colors are perfect. I generally go for more pinks, purples, and blues which they have such a variety of. They are affordable, yet such good quality! You can find them at Wal-Mart.

These are the fun products I’m using at the moment! I hope you enjoyed my selection and maybe decide to try one or two in the future!

Thanks for reading!
