365 Days

“Tomorrow, is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Write a good one.”

-Brad Paisley

Today is January 1st, 2016. Today is the tomorrow you were waiting for yesterday. Today is page one.

Good morning everyone and happy new year! If you are reading this, I want to thank you for taking time out of your day to be interested in mine. I am overly excited that today is the first day of a brand new year!

A new year holds so much hope and possibility for such wonderful happenings! It is truly my favorite time!

As we begin another year, I want to take a moment to wish you all well. This year I want you to love yourself! Take time each day to appreciate who you are and what you have gone through to become that person. Each and every one of us has a special potential all our own! Be the best that you can be, and do the best that you can do, but don’t be afraid to challenge yourself to be and do better than the day before! Don’t try to find happiness for yourself, create it! You hold the key to a happy life in your mind and in your heart. This year, go for it. Don’t let fear of failure hold you back. What successful person in this world hasn’t once looked like an idiot or been knocked down a time or two? Just do it. And in all you are and all you do, I wish you well!

And as the new year begins, I want you to truly reflect on the above quote…

This has always been my favorite quote for a new year. At the end of an old year and the beginning of a new one, many people only focus on the bad. They reflect on what went wrong and wish for better in the coming year. But no good book is written without conflict or struggle. Without it there would be no story. That’s what makes our lives interesting and impressive! Instead of striving for a perfect life, strive for a good one. A life, that if written down in detail, could tell the world how strong you are and how meaningful both the ups and downs have been. Live your story and live it well!

Happy New Year!
